I was going to hold off on writing something about yesterday’s vote but the news out of Ohio is just too important to pass up.
I’m referring, of course, to the vote which put a pro-choice statement into the state Constitution and a vote, by the way, which wasn’t even close, with the proposal garnering 56% of the votes with 96% of the votes counted throughout the Buckeye State.
The Wall Street Journal managed to dig up a couple of anti-abortion voters in Steubenville, a crummy factory town on the border of West Virginia which went for Trump in 2020 by more than 70%, and these two made it clear that they also believed that the current charges against Trump were nothing more than a phony effort to keep him off the ballot in 2024.hat
Know what? Fuck all those Republic(ans). I mean it. Fuck ‘em all. They want to make America great again by forcing women who want to terminate a pregnancy to sneak around in some alley and pay some old lady a couple of hundred bucks to stick a spoon up their vaginal canal and ‘clean them out?’
And by the way, the Republic(ans) can take those so-called ‘progressive’ Democrats with them too, particularly the members of the Democrat(ic) Party and their helpmates in the Fake Media who tell you that Joe doesn’t deserve a second term because all he did was keep Orange Shithead from having a second term.
It’s amazing how quickly and easily we forget what was going on in this country just a few years ago when a hospital in Reno had to convert part of its parking garage into a treatment center for Covid patients and the fucking President of the United States claimed that the photos of this temporary clinic space were ‘doctored.’
Here’s the bottom line about yesterday’s Ohio vote. What it showed is that in most states the Democrat(ic) Party has a built-in edge over the Shithead Party because the Shithead Party still doesn’t believe in voting or doing anything at all to get out the vote.
Remember how Orange Shithead kept talking in 2020 about the 50,000-person ‘army’ that he had put together to go around and get out the vote and then patrol the polls? There was no ‘army.’ There was nothing except this totally phony attempt to fake the electoral vote in a few states and get those phony ballots to the U.S. Senate for the January 6th vote.
How could six educated, professional attorneys like Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro, Ray Smith, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, and Robert Cheeley all believe Rudy Giuliani’s bullshit and get themselves involved in that crazy scheme to swipe voting machines in Coffee County and alter the vote?
And the women in this group were former prosecutors. You mean they couldn’t understand the difference between what’s legal and what’s not legal?
Of course, they couldn’t understand the difference, which simply proves what I have been saying all along, which is that if you vote for the GOP, you’re basically dumb.
Okay, so maybe we need a political party which can be a home for the dumb ones. I have no problem with that, particularly since IQ is like protoplasm, either you have a good one or you don’t.
But let yesterday’s result in Ohio also be a warning to our side, which is that if half the human species sits on the left side of the bell curve IQ-wise, then all the GOP needs to win an election is all the dumb votes plus one. That’s what ‘one man (or woman), one vote’ really means.
Why do I get the feeling that on the issue of a woman’s reproductive choice, that the so-called ‘progressive’ Democrats and the mainline Dems are able to overlook their differences, work together and win an important vote?
Why do I get the feeling that what happened in Ohio yesterday should be a model for what the blue team does in every state next year?
C’mon guys and gals. Let’s get it done!
What Happened in Ohio?
I suspect that even a goodly number of those GOP women vote their reproductive choice, even if they don't admit it outside the voting booth.
